Re: KQo calling a raise PF
Just seems like such a hard thing to do, but I fully understand why. No need for an example there was an EP raise and I was in MP - folded.

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
should you generally fold-yes.
also factor in position and tendencies of preflop raiser, as calling on the button against a LAG with loose raising standards in the CO is OK. How about KQo in the BB? Today, I had it in the BB w/a 3-bet, and I dumped it. Probably some of the factors I outlined above affect it. |

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
There are of course some exceptions (e.g., three-betting a possible steal raise), but you should almost always fold KQo to a legitimate raise pre-flop.

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
Last night I got one hand of KQo vs. PF raiser. It's a somewhat tight 1/2 table with 3~4 seeing the flop. UTG+1 raises and I had KQo at Button. Usually I will fold but 3 guys cold called 2bets before me. I could not resist to cold call too. I am wondering whether the 3 coldcalls give more reasons for fold or make the cold call at button acceptable? By the way, I folded on a Axx rainbow flop when all guys before me called one bet. |

Re: KQo calling a raise PF
If it's a tight table, what are the 3 guys who cold called calling with?
