Default Sunday PokerStars $200+15 thread

I'm playing in both the Party and PokerStars 4:30 EST $200+15 tournaments. Kind of enjoyed the 'ongoing updates' that people have been doing of late, so I'll try to pop over on the breaks and let people know how I'm doing, and perhaps others will do likewise.

I'm making seperate threads for the two tournaments because otherwise it will just get confusing.

Good luck to all who are playing!

Chris

Won a nice pot on the first hand (called a raise with 44, flop was 765 of clubs, giving me a weird straight flush draw), so for a brief time I was 2nd out of 1570!

GL all.

Default First break - T5310

Good for 209th out of 1077. I like players who are so scared they underbet all the time. Won a big pot off of QQ when I was the in BB. I had 35o, he minraised from the CO (first level) and all three of us called. Flop gave me an open ender. He bet ~1/5th of the pot. I called and hit the straight on the turn.

Underbetting is too much confidence, not too much fear. IMO.

Default 2nd break - T7735

Good for 210 out of 451, a little below average (T8761). Was up to ~T9000, but then lost 1200 chips when I open raised from CO-1 w/ATo, SB called and BB went all in for ~5500 more. Me and SB both folded.

Busted a stack earlier when I called a min-raiser w/75 of hearts and flopped the flush. Got all-in on the flop. Other player had the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], but did not catch.

LOL. I remember this play quite well. I was the guy u busted! Horrible play by me. Never should have called. Should have made a strong raise pre-flop. Question: Would u have folded the 5-h 7-h if i had raised with AK-o pre-flop like i was supposed to? Regardless of your answer, nice play. Was hoping to see u make the final table.

Best regards,

GB
