Worst feeling
Has to be misclicks. For the last hour Ive been setting up an image of a donk losing $30-50 on some Lag hands. Finally I hit a full house and what do I do when he pushes all in with some crap hand like top pair, I misclick and fold. Im starting to lose a lot of money cuz of misclicks.

Re: Worst feeling
Maybe you're jumpy. Why don't you condition yourself not to touch the mouse until an action has to be performed on the table?

i use this [/ QUOTE ] ugh...that's even worse. I agree with moving the mouse away. I would also suggest not getting down so much. What limits are you playing at? |

Re: Worst feeling
Actually it only takes a second's hesitation before action to prevent misclicks.
A good way to do it is verbalize outloud what I am doing and the reason for doing it BEFORE I click. EX: "I have a full house and this donk doesn't, so I'm going to RAISE" This very brief pause is enough to stop my hand from folding. Idea stolen from "Psychology of Poker" by Schoenmaker (SP??) |

Re: Worst feeling
NEVER leave you mouse hovering over the buttons - this is a classic way to misclick.
Having to move the mouse makes you concentrate more. |

Re: Worst feeling
Yes, but "Best Feeling" is misclicking and then sucking out anyway.

Re: Worst feeling
Best feeling of all:
Misclicking - calling big raise on BB with 92o (thought I was clicking "check"). Then flop the FH and take down a BIG pot. |
