i see the smiley, but i just wanted to state that unless you mean that merely entering the Big One is -EV i can't see how an equal share (thanks to Granny's philosophy of absolute fairness) of a seat proportional to winnings could possibly be construed as -EV

this is the best chance many of us will ever have of getting so close to the actual thrill of the action for so few dollars i'm actually starting to think it's the best +EV move i'll be making all year

unless it's some kind of legally binding contract, it's naive to think you'll always see 100% of any winnings you'd be entitled to.
