Both players are a bit loose. A few hands earlier I bet K5 from the BB when a K hit and MP1 called down showing KQ on the river.
Is a value bet in place here? I thought they would bet worse hands and call with worse hands but I was worried about a raise. I would valuebet against MP2 if it was HU. Definitely. The times that you'll run into a bigger king or jack ten are far outweighed by the times you'll get called with a queen or a weak king.

Yeah, I bet this. The check raise on the flop was nice too.

Remember, a few hands before I "valuebetted" K5 and he called down HU with KQ without raising on any street.

[ QUOTE ]
Remember, a few hands before I "valuebetted" K5 and he called down HU with KQ without raising on any street. [/ QUOTE ] He might have you beat. If he does and you check he'll probably bet it right? And you'll call? If he's been passive this long and he's got you beat he's unlikely to raise right? What about all the hands he might have that don't have you beat, will he bet those on the end? Will he call a bet with those? The value bet is predicated on the idea that he'll call more hands where he loses, than bet hands you beat. -Tim |

Why on earth did you not bet this flop? For heaven's sake, bet the flop and bet the river.

Uh, I check raised the flop to thin the field. Also, read my post above about one of them calling down with KQ.
