KK under heavy fire
What do you guys think on the flop? I was planning to raise the turn turn all-in as long as MP dropped. I wasn't as worried about SB because I don't think he would fire out a full pot bet with a set on that board. What the hell did UTG+1 have? If he had a set he played it pretty poorly.

Re: KK under heavy fire
UTG had 79?
I think your logic on the flop is fine. and turn is unfortunately easy fold as there is no draw on the flop. |

Re: KK under heavy fire
Preflop is good.
I bump flop to 100, and push any turn against most players. If he's the type that usually only leads with a set, I call and re-evaluate. |

[/ QUOTE ] I put SB on either air (betting I have high unpaired cards) or a lower overpair. Sets don't play like this on these boards, as I will have AK more than AA or KK. The UTG+1 flat call bothered me. I treated this as WA/WB. Either they are drawing to a max of eight outs in the case of a straight draw, they have five outs with a pair / kicker combo, or someone is drawing to two outs. And if I bump it to $100 on the flop and SB pushes, I throw up all over my keyboard. |
