Another pocket Js hand
Playing 2-10 spread B&M HE 10 handed.
I'm UTG I think with JJ and I raise to 12, UTG+2 raises to 22, MP calls, BB calls, I call. Flop 8, T, K rainbow (8.5BB) BB checks, I bet 10, UTG+2 raises, MP calls, BB calls, I call. Turn K (16.5BB) BB checks, I check, UTG+2 bets 10, MP calls, BB raises, I fold. I think this is standard but I just wanted a reality check. My logic is that I'm behind for sure, I figured that at least one guy flopped a set and at least another guy has a strong king, possibly 2 pair. So on the turn I'm looking for a jack to make my hand or a 9 or Q gives me an OESD, or a 7 or an A gives me a gutshot SD. I have to fold if an 8, T, or K comes out which I figured was a maximum of 5 cards. I was planning on betting/raising if I hit the set, check calling a brick or any of the straight draws, and folding on the 8, T, or K. Is this good or am I off base? I'm losing way too much on these pairs that never come home because I keep seeing hands exactly like this one, large multiway pots with a single overcard on an otherwise low board. |

Playing 2-10 spread [/ QUOTE ] I can't think straight...oh...but I think that's a fine fold. |

Re: Another pocket Js hand
spread limit is about the only game around here besides 3/6 which I cannot stand and 10/20 which I am not bankrolled for.

Re: Another pocket Js hand
3/6 live is no fold 'em hold 'em. definitely stay away. the 10/20 sounds juicy, but no bankroll makes it a no, no. damn spread limit games. nice fold btw.
