is there any game besides 3/6 that has a 1-chip small blind? i know 15/30 has a $10 small blind, but i'm not sure about games like 9/18 and 30/60. i guess 30/60 is $20 if it's played with $10 chips. anyway, was just curious.

California 6/12 and 9/18 frequently have a 1-chip SB.

Bay Area 6/12 is 1 chip SB with $2 chips, however in Tahoe this weekend blinds were 3/6 and the game was played with red and white chips (boo to that)

right it should be $2 so the physical size of the pot is larger and much more fun for the fish to splash around.

[/ QUOTE ] That and the fact that it stops dealers from having to make change from the pot all the time. Its almost as bad as the players who color up all the time when they get up a little, and leave about 2 bets worth of chips in the color of the game. I hate those [censored]. |

thanks. what do we like better? 1/3 SB or 2/3 SB? [/ QUOTE ] Isn't 1/3 the correct answer? We can adjust to either, but the typical loose small stakes player is making a bigger mistake by completing with a bad hand in the 1/3 blind structure. With a 2/3 size small blind, it becomes correct to call with a wider range of hands that they probably weren't folding before anyway. In effect, some of their "mistakes" become correct with a bigger small blind. When our opponents make bigger and more frequent mistakes, we make profit. |

For a semi-hijack, is the Tropicana AC's pink chip game a 1-chip or 2-chip SB?
