TPQK from Stars 150+12
Villain and I both have ~3500. Blinds are 50/100. This is my first hand at the table, I'm in the CO.
folds to me, I raise to 350 with AQo from the CO, SB (villain calls) FLOP (800) A82, 2 clubs. Villain checks, I bet 500, he raises all in, I fold. My issue here is does he play a set like this? Does he make this overbet with clubs enough to make this a call? |

Re: TPQK from Stars 150+12
i dont play at this level, but at lower levels i feel like you are ahead of his range. basically im saying if this was a 20+2 and all were the same i would call. then villain would flip over AK or 88 (he was really paranoid about clubs) and i would turn off the monitor and go eat a fruit roll-up.
after typing this im now almost compelled to fold. this is why i dont post. anyways this overbet doesn't scare me off my TPQK. and did you have a club? |

Re: TPQK from Stars 150+12
I call here 100% of the time.
Remember you raised from the CO (possible steal) I think alot of the hands you would be worried about AK, and maybe even 88 repop you here preflop. The only hand i would be worried about would be 22. Easy call here IMHO |

You don't think he calls your CO 'steal' with like a billion hands that do this which you're ahead of?
