Borgata on Christmas
Is a ghost town On Friday night they barely had 2 20/40 games going, and on Saturday noonish they had no 20/40 going at all, only one 40/80 which was playing 3-4 handed. Played a bit of that, decided that it's too short for me to play this high (or too high for me to play this short) so I went home. Where are all the gambooling jews and asians i was promised?

Re: Borgata on Christmas
I've been playing the 10/20 there overnight a couple times this week and I love it when it gets short. It's a better value for my time charge and I've only played 6-max online for the last 9 months. Even the good players don't handle the adjustment well and it's too easy to clean up.

Re: Borgata on Christmas
I got there around 3:30 and there was an interest list for 20/40. The game got started around 4 and I played till 11. It was mostly full but we did play 6-8 handed some of the time. It was mostly Jews and I suggested we play some dreidel. I never saw so many yarmulkas in a casino before.
The only obvious gentile that I saw was Fonzi. He played for a little while wearing an enormous crucifix then went upstairs to try out his foolproof bacarrat system. |

Re: Borgata on Christmas
When I last saw Fonzi he was playing 6/12. I was waiting on a 10/20 table so I sat in, I asked him what he was doing playing so low. Fonzi tells me he lost a lot recently and had to take a step down to recover.
PS: Christmas is when the Jews & Asians show up, the 23rd & 24th is historically dead. Tomorrow should be rocking. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] That might explain why he bought in for a small amount and only played a short time. He was mostly sitting at an empty table while his friend played. Fonzi has a reputation as a huge luckbox, so maybe his luck ran out. The funny thing is that he is always talking about religion and he wears a huge crucifix, but there he is playing poker on Christmas Eve. I'm not sure what that means. |
