So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)
Preflop, I am typically 22/20. I only rarely limp. This seems to aggro pf, what hands are you guys lmping?
edit: 6m of course. I can't even think of any hands I would limp, so I don't know why my stats are 22/22. I'm raising all pp from any position, open raising any ace on the button, raising sc on the button with any no of limpers, playing A8o+ from LP with limpers for a raise, raising and reraising AJs+ and AQo+ from any position, raising paint kings and K8s+ from button, etc. Edit2: and for places where I'm in position and facing a raise, it's typically a fold or reraise situation for me. Edit3: OK I guess I flat call a raise in LP with 22-88. I guess that's the 2%. Otherwise if im limping it's because I'm trying to make a move. |

Re: So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)
wtf? That's crazy.
I raise AJ+ in CO onwards. I raise 65s + suited connectors if there have been no callers in LP. With many callers I call with SC in LP I call with PP < 77 unless there are no other callers then I raise. I raise with all other PP. I reraise QQ + What's your ptbb/100 with this sort of PF aggression? What limits? How many hands? I'm 6.5ptbb/100 at NL100 over 25k hands. |

So am I, I still think it's crazy. Am I wrong?
I just never could get a PFR of >10. |

Re: So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)
I'm 21/13 or so, I believe 22/20 could very well be profitable, just a little higher variance I guess.

Re: So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)
I play 6max/50nl, my stats are 31/17 and very profitable.
Too many people are obsessing about "perfect" stats which do not exist. |

Hey if you're winning and it ain't broke, why fix it?
One thing I'm not sure I like however is re-raising AJs from anywhere. Seems like you could get into a lot of sticky situations. |

Re: So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)
One thing that stands out is raising/reraising AJ/AQ from any position.
I find that if i'm in the BB, facing a raise from any non-SB position, and i have AQ, i'm more likely to call as I will be OOP the rest of the hand and i'd like to keep the pot smaller. If i'm in position, i'll probably reraise. The problem I see with reraising AJ/AQ oop is: if they call, and you miss the flop (65% of the time, as it were), a continuation bet is now much larger (albeit more successful, as your reraise showed greater strength), and you're building a big pot without realizing where you stand. Or, if they 3-bet you preflop, then you're out of 10-12 BB's without seeing a flop. Having just recently started playing 6-max, I already realize how huge position is in it. |
