AA, back to back
One-table live SNG. Heads up I have 9,000 chips and my opponent has 11,000. Blinds are 500/1000. On the previous hand, I had AA and took the pot with a preflop raise. THis hand, I raise on the button with AQo to 3,000. I get raised all in and assume I have the odds to call. We flip our cards - he has AA!!!
Anyway, what are the odds of my having AA on one hand and him having AA on the next? Any ideas? Also, maybe not the right forum...if not, sorry |

Re: AA, back to back
Well the odds for one of AA being dealt to one of you in two consecutive hands are a little more complicated, but the odds of one person getting AA back to back is 1/221 * 1/221. Roughly one in fifty thousand.
