Gambling in NL with $100 (need to win/lose all)
Maybe my title didn't describe it well.
I have $100 in a poker account on a site. This money is a bonus and I have not fulfilled the cash out requirements for it. I no longer play on this site and neither will I do so in the future. Thus I will never be able to cash it out. I thought I'd do a gamble. It will be similar to a sticky bonus for those of you familiar with casino whoring, except that here I play Texas Hold'em instead of blackjack. I normally play limit hold'em. I feel I need to get it done quickly and since this money has no real value to me (I cannot cash out), I don't mind losing it too much. My idea was to buy in for $100 short-stacked in a larger NL game and wait for a good hand, preferrably QQ/KK/AA and then go all in. As a short stack I will have a larger chance of getting called preflop and then have a good advantage in % against any caller. The potential problem is the case where I don't get the hand I need to go all in, I will pretty soon be blinded off of too much money. Any ideas/suggestions? Any better "strategy" to maximise this money. Remember I don't mind losing it too much since that is just the same as leaving it there. I wish to have a good chance of getting some money out of it, since I will be able to cash out any amount above $100 as winnings, however I will always have to leave at least $100 in the account since I'm not allowed to cash out the bonus money. |

Play Solid Poker and keep running profits off the $100.
Since you have nothing to lose I'd pay either 3/6 or 400NL |

My first thought was the highest heads up SNG tournament you could afford if you think you had at least a 40-45 chance of winning, you'd double up really quickly and have something worth clearing.
