Default NC-Money safe on Party skins?

From the internet forum...

Empire Poker dropped 55 dollars a share today... down almost one third...

Is it safe to have money online in their accounts right now?

Yes.

If they don't give us their money, it's extortion and theft. I wouldn't worry too much about it. But for the paranoid people, go ahead and withdraw.

LOL. It's neither extortion nor theft. If they go bankrupt, it's a civil matter. You lose all or part of your money.

Would you really be willing to fly to whatever country Empire is located in to file a suit there?

There would be a class-action suit.

I'm not trying to be paranoid...

However there are plenty of companies in the world that if their stock devalued 1/3 to 1/2 in ONE day they would be pretty f$%#ed.

I was just wondering whether or not this was one of them.

It may be worth asking again in the Stock Market forum.

Empire's price has gone down 5 points since you posted this

i'm confident my $ in eurobet is safe since they have a huge sports book business in addition to poker.

empire and the other skins w/o a side business i would be worried about. i'm down to $1k in empire. if the sng fill rate doesnt improve by the time my Party acct is completely set up, i'm going to abandon empire.
