buy in for loose games vs tight games.
What is the range for your buy ins in a super looser game (commerce 9-18) vs a tight game?

Just rebuy if you get low You are going to see the most variance in a loose aggressive game. In general, it's high aggression that increases variance, not looseness or tightness.

Why would it matter? Just make sure you have at least 12 BBs at all times.

Re: buy in for loose games vs tight games.
I'll sit down with 30BB's in this kind of game, sometimes more. I hate getting short stacked wondering if and when I'm going to want to buy more chips. Anyway, it's not really important in a limit game. This is something to think about in a NL cash game.

This is true if they have a "no-cap" policy. If online, 12BB is a good minimum. Here is why. I raise, sb 3 bets, I cap. HU to flop I have KK Flop K J 8 bet, I raise, sb calls Turn K J 8 8 sb bets 10, I bet 20, sb 30, I 40, sb 50, I 60, sb 70, I 80, sb 90, I 100, sb calls. turn 4 I bet, sb calls I show KK, he mucks. This player was god awful, he might ahve had AK here, or AA, or just a solitary 8. Make sure you don't go all in if some retard wants to give you $$$ |

Re: buy in for loose games vs tight games.
In loose games I find that buying in for much more than the average seems to hurt my action. If you want a big stack I think it would be best to sneak a couple of large denomination chips into the bottom of your stack.
