How bout leading the turn, if he doesnt have anything by then hes not gonna pay you off on that board at the river anyway, might as well try and get 2 bets out of him.
leading the flop would be a bold move, i think the way u played it is pretty standard. |

I think you lead the turn with a min-bet that looks like you are trying to get a cheap diamond or Q and pray that he raises you. Then you call. Then lead out with a 1/3 pot bet on the river.

getting paid off on quads is pretty much dependent on villan having a hand. All you can do is bet and hope villan has a hand or good draw.
Lead the flop. |

That's it! All you can do is hope villain makes a hand. I did this last week and flopped quad K's. Went pretty much like this except river was a J which made villain a set. With a really tiny pot I lead the river, villain raises big, I push, he calls.
No great play here, just good fortune. Karma! |

I don't like leading the flop here, you already are holding the nuts, unless he's got an over pair or a J, the hand's pretty much over.

MP has $168.60 left. If he is 20% as likely to call a suspicious looking river push as he is $35 don't you break even on the bet?
I don't know the real odds here, but it seems as though you should try to get it all in when you have quads. |
