Default Howard Lederer takes Andy Beal up on his offer; book out in June

I was playing the Full Tilt 75K Guaranteed today with Howard at my table (and then got busted by him on a resteal because I don't play gud, but that's another story.)

In the middle of the tourney, some guy asked him what his biggest win and loss in a cash game was. Howard's answer was something like, "8.5M and 1.6M", followed by "at a private heads up game to a guy in Dallas". Supposedly, there's also a book about it due out in June.

Just thought some people here would like to know (BTW, if this post raises any sort of legal issues for Howard, please delete the thread; I just posted it since he seemed willing to talk about it in public.)

288 pages, that's a nice 2 hour read in the bookstore with some coffee, no need to buy it.

You read 288 pages in 2 hours? WOW. Since I might need 2 days for 288 pages IŽd rather buy it.

Lederer said it is a good book. Should be a good addition to the non-strategy poker library.

That's a terrible idea! A couple people who read advance copies said they stayed up late at night to finish it. I'd hate to think of you locked in that bookstore, jacked up on coffee so you can't fall asleep on the floor, but without enough light to find out the conclusion.

The suicide king is one of the cards in the deck, more specifically the king that has a sword held behind his head (making it look as if he's stabbing himself).
