Tens out of position
Hi, two main questions here. Firstly, should I check the river to induce a bluff, and secondly, given that I bet, do I call a raise? I'm leaning toward yes for the first, no for the second. Any opinions?
CO is unremarkable, but I've only seen a few hands. Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, MP calls, CO calls. Re: Tens out of position
I think this is a text book example for check calling to try to catch a bluff, villan might also bet a 6 here too. I wouldn't like getting raised much here, and would probably muck.

Re: Tens out of position
This is an interesting question...
I prefer the bet/fold to check/call, because with those last 2 overcards IMO most players that might have tried to bet their 5 or 6 at you on the river will now check through assuming your "AK" just caught up. This is very player-dependent though...there are many aggressive players that I would c/c to induce a bluff, but for me that is a read-specific deviation from my normal line. Surf |

Re: Tens out of position
This is a very easy value bet. Fold to a raise is player dependant but at 5/10 probably yah.
