i just played 1/2 hour at two tables before i realized i was at omaha hi, not omaha hi/lo
i'm dumb the good news is i was still up $7 combined when i realized it, (i retract any poker is dying comments i may have made) |

I did the same thing the other night. Sat at h/l table and it took a few hands to realize it. Seen a pot get split with two different hands getting shown down and was like bwah?

Better than sitting at a stud table for 1/2 hour before realizing it's not Omaha.

I remember doing this in 3/6 stud one time when I thought it was stud h/l
I raised wildly with boards of 2367 into open aces, two pair etc. A guy with 3 aces showing folded to me on the river after I had raised him on 5th and 6th with a made low. Finally a guy called me down with KK88 and beat my A2356 and it took me a minute to figure out why he got the whole pot. I still made money on the session. |
