Default Has anyone ever been to the denver intl airport?

Ive read a few things about the debacle of the DIA, and the costs etc, Ive also heard conspiricias about the place, like its going to be the HQ for the NWO, stupid weird stuff. But my question is, I have been told there are paintings at DIA, of weird thins, that shouldnt/wouldnt be normally depicted in a mural. Coffins, and dead kids, naziesque things, any truth to it?

Never noticed that. If it is there it is probably hidden in a public art thing as a joke by the artist.

Been there didn't pay close attention to the art. Have been underground there in the baggage system. Know people who work there every day. None of us have seen aliens. There was plenty of waste, plenty of construction problems. But I think it was the usual incompetence rather than some bizarre conspiracy.

I've lived in Littleton for about 1.75 years and in that time, have flown in and out of DIA probably about 15-20 times. I have never seen any disturbing murals. They do have a small art exhibit in the walkway to Concourse A, but it's all small objects and it's always some theme that changes probably about monthly - weird furniture one month, Native American stuff the next, etc. Further along the same walkway, there's a bunch of pictures of little kids, some happy, some sad, but nothing terrible or weird. There is also an art shop in the main terminal that I've only walked by, but it's mostly pictures of mountains and polar bears and whatnot.

Meh. Nothin. It's possible that there was some art display that was offensive to some and got taken down. I don't know about subfloors or whatever other conspiracy theory stuff. I've never heard of or experienced any weird noises or illnesses. Yeah, the baggage system had problems, but I don't see the conspiracy there. I also don't see the problem with having a tram out to the concourses (you can walk in a walkway that goes over the taxiway to get to Concourse A if you want). The tent-like structure gives a very nice, high ceiling and a shape symbolic of the mountains. I don't see what's so crazy about it being teflon coated. There's all kinds of communications wiring and whatnot because it's a modern building... it offers wireless internet, internet kiosk banks, and whatever else on top of the usual modern airport communications stuff. They went all-out on it. They took a huge chunk of land because... what the hell else are you going to do with it? Might as well keep it clear of other development and leave room for expansion. The area out that way is starting to develop now and it's projected to be a vey fast growing area now that there's not a whole lot more room to go West and the land is cheaper East. The large area inside the main terminal is nice and I've seen the whole interior room's floor full with security lines. There's a lot of room for baggage claim, and the main hall's 2nd floor perimter is taken up by shops and food places.

Now, is it plausible that maybe the government had some interest in doing something there or in dumping some extra cash into checking out some new technologies while they were at it? Sure, but I'm not worried about it.
