Anyone played the Seminole Hard Rock Tournaments?
Has anyone played in either the SNG's or the Multi-tables at either of the Florida Hard Rocks? I know at the Hollywood location the Saturday MTT is $200+15 and the SNG's are at all levels. I'm wondering how well run the tournaments are, what the structure is, how fast the blinds increase, etc. They of course can't tell me this over the phone, but maybe someone here has played them before. Thanks.

Re: Anyone played the Seminole Hard Rock Tournaments?
I Played the MTT at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa last month. 100 plus 20 was the cost. I played on Wed 11 am. 110 entered the MTT. Blinds started at 25/50 went up very quick. I lasted until three tables. Blinds were up tp 800/1600. Anyway busted out with a full house. First prize was 3300 and they paid all at the final table. I hope this helps.

Yeah it does, thanks. Any idea how long the rounds were? I could only play the Sat. Tourney, and don't want to drop the 200 to find out its a turbo tournament with 5 minute rounds. How long would guess the whole thing lasted?

Re: Anyone played the Seminole Hard Rock Tournaments?
I played a lot of sngs during spring break at the semionle. The $135 sngs start you with 1500 in chips, with blinds at 50/100. 15 minute rounds. The $250's are a bit better with 2000 chips, the $500's being the best with 2500 in starting chips.
I was able to do well at every level because nobody really knew about short stack play except for me. Every $135 I played was loose and wild. The $250 I played was at about 4 AM so it featured mostly good players, only one donk. |
