Mandatory push after his raise on the flop unless you know something that isn't included in the original post.
If your opponents realize (and some, at this level, can) that you can be pushed around with a hand as good as AA with a weak uncoordinated flop like this one, you are in for some tough sledding. Marlow |

Mandatory push after his raise on the flop [/ QUOTE ] Is the push mandatory due to meta-game-aspects (People pushing me around if i dont make a stand) or to + expected value in this particular hand? //Pug |

Put yourself in villains shoes. How often do you check-raise a set on that harmless board? Probably not that often, he most likely has a big jack or maybe a smaller overpair. You're good better than 50% of the time here so get your money in the pot.

In my opinion, you don't need to worry about meta-game when you are playing 2/4 since players come and go so quickly and the pool is so big.
Only typical hands you are losing to in this spot are 44, 99, and occasionally JJ. You are beating AJ, and KJ (even QJs) which many players and this level would play this way. Therefore, you are getting 2:1 on this bet when I think you are ahead at least 50% of the time. You will also be getting 3:1 on the river for your last $200. Just get it in now since your hand isn't getting any better. |

Why on earth is this an autofold? If you are folding turn, then plz fold flop.

You are ahead here far more often than behind. The only question is, how to extract the max? With position, I'd flat call the turn then get it all in on the river.

I think you guys are missing something at 5/10 this is an insta push b/c people are raising here with more than a set and 2/4 NL this is a close fold b/c the rest of players are playing very weak-tight. I call b/c an overpair is likely but its a close decision given the general play at 2/4. I noticed the majority of the posters thus far are 5/10 and higher regulars. The play is drastically different at the two levels. As for metagame of being pushed around there are only a handful of players at 2/4 smart enough to realize that if you can't value bet you need to bluff.
