Poker Psychology books
To further improve my (limit) poker game I want to buy a couple of psychology books on poker.
The kind of books that identify what player you exactly are, what kind of players your opponents are, there tendencies, crawl into their mind and understand what they are thinking and why, why they do what they do, etc, etc, I'm sure you get the point. So far, with some reading and searching on 2+2 and other sites, I have come up with the following books I want to buy: - Psychology of Poker by Al Schoonmaker - Inside the poker mind by John Feeney - Killer poker by John Vorhaus Good/bad? Opinions? Am I missing something? Also, In which order would you read them? |

Re: Poker Psychology books
I've never read Killer Poker, but the other two on your list are great. I would also add Poker Sex & Dying: Inside the Mind of a Gambler by Juel E. Anderson to your list. |

Re: Poker Psychology books
If you really want to get into the pyschology aspects of poker, you may want to check out:
"Beyond Tells: Power Poker Psychology" I picked it up about a month ago..and am about 1/3 through (just too many books to read at a time). This book is written by a PhD in psychology and is definately different than the other psychology books out there. |

So now to decide what to buy... |

Re: Poker Psychology books
read the psycology of poker. you will learn a lot. although the benefits of reading a book like this would help you more in no limit ( or at least pot limit)... there isnt as much psycology going on in limit poker as there is just numbers and odds.

Let's do some reading! |
