Re: How do u plan your poker?
when time permits. Hopefully in primetime for whatever site. I play where I can get bonus or rakeback when I'm learning, and I play at the softest sites when I'm at my higher levels of play. I only play 1.5-2 hours a day but I'm in college.

Re: How do u plan your poker?
yeah that's what I've been doing for about 2 years. Now I've just happen to put myself in a situation where poker is my only income... at least until next year. I have built my bankroll this month from $400 to $1600 including a bonus $200, playing 0,25-0,50. Now I don't know how to plan my my days. Some days I really don't fel like playin and then I don't. How do u veterans handle those days

How do u veterans handle those days [/ QUOTE ] If I don't feel like playing, I don't play (as of right now). However, over the summer I had an unpaid internship and thus, poker was my only income. Generally, if I didn't feel like playing, I shortened my session, reduced the amount of tables I played and put on a movie in the background. That way, I didn't get bored too quickly and make dumb decisions. However, if you're a newer play I don't recommend that, as distractions may actually cause you to lose money. I guess my advice is, if you're a new player and you already get bored of poker, then maybe you should try to find a new source of income. On the reverse side of this, sometimes when I'm really eager to play, I try to outplay people too much. This equates to the same thing as when I'm bored of playing; I win less money. Generally, I do the same thing in this situation as I do when I'm bored of poker: I reduce the amount of tables I play, and distract myself slightly so that I can think in a more regular state of mind. I dunno if that helps at all...sry if it's just rambling. |

Re: How do u plan your poker?
i do NOT make anything like a living playing poker. BUt i got into online poker a year and a half ago via a free $50 on party poker. I have withdrawn $200 3 times and have never put my own money online. that being said....
I play when i can. Although my spreadsheet stats indicate that i am much more successful during the morning and early afternoon. i cashout $200 when i get to $400. that is all. i only play .1/.25 and .25/.5 and the occassional SNG and tourney. |
