It gives too small result for 1/2 6-max at least, haven't checked the others.

Re: rakeback in terms of $$ per hour
Why does that calculator stop at $200NL? Nobody plays higher than that with a rakeback? I think not.
The calculator stinks in my opinion. I entered $200NL full ring.....10000 hands.....100% rake back. I entered 100% just to get the total rake. I divide the total rake by 10000 and get .1275 per hand. Ive played way more than enough at those stakes (and have pokertracker data) to know that the rake at those stakes is closer to .11-.115 perhand...not .1275. Thats a huge difference. Not too mention that not all poker sites figure the rake/ per player the same way. |

It's a good guestimation, though, and a good starting point. I *heard* that they were adding the higher limits tonight. Unsure, guess we'll have to wait and see if they do.

Yes, but you might get pissed when you get 10%-15% less rebated to you than you were expecting.

I dont know crapola about the tech/geek stuff involved, but you would think the person doing it would use the right numbers?
All you need is the correct avg rake per player numbers for each different stakes. Is this YOUR calculator? |

[/ QUOTE ] It's actually my rake calculator and all the #'s I came up with are from over 10,000+ hands datamined at each level during US prime time hours when the average pot is slightly higher than normal. This may be the reason your #'s are slightly lower. When I datamined each level I also took the tables with the average size pots. I tried to leave out any tables with an abnormal pot average so the results would not be skewed by one table. |

Re: rakeback in terms of $$ per hour
I guess the times you datamined could make a difference, but I play early in the morning (8-10CST)
Sometimes in the afternoon (12-1:30) And late at night (11-1AM) On weekends, I play all different times. Im also an affiliate at every major site so I know how much rake is at different stakes, which is why I posted in this thread. Also, did you know that Prima figures their rake different from everyone else. At most sites, if the total rake is $3 and there were 10 players dealt cards....each player is credited with .30 in rake. At Prima, (or at least GamingClub and RiverBelle) you only get credit for whatever rake was collected WHILE you were still in the hand. If you fold preflop, you get credited with nothing. If you see the flop along with 3 people and then you fold, you get creidted with 25% of whatever rake was collected before you folded. Whoever continues to stay in the hand is credited with more rake as the hand progresses. It makes no sense and is way over complicated, but thats how they do it. If you play tight, your rake will be much lower. In alot of cases, it will be 25-30% lower (if you are a rock and see 15-18% of flops). I apologize for insulting your calculator. |
