TT crappy overpair hand
$.10/.25 full ring party poker
No reads. Sorry, no HH either, so this will have to be manual. Villan in this hand is SS and has $9.75 total and is in the SB. Hero raises to $1.5 after 2 limpers in MP w/TT. Everyone and their grandmother calls so theres 5 (I think) to the flop. Flop: (~$6.5) 8 7 7r Villan leads for $2 from SB. Hero raises the rest of villans stack (raising to $8.25) stnd? |

Re: TT crappy overpair hand
I make it $2 preflop. I played about 1k hands of nl25 yesterday and I found that 1.5 in this positin will always get callers behind me. I think this is a fold. Villain could be a donkey with A8 or 99, but there are still people to act behind. Your only decent option is to push, and this seems risky with so many in the pot.

Re: TT crappy overpair hand
sonofabitch, messed up the action. Look again please. I was the one who pushed villan in.
Edit: 1 EP folded in between me and villan. |

Re: TT crappy overpair hand
Raising looks good. But you may have to fold if someone behind you pushes.

Re: TT crappy overpair hand
If you were HU with villain then putting shorty all- in is good. If there were others left to act, then call and be prepared to fold to a push from anyone other than short stack.
One pair hand + Family Pot = Disaster |
