A hand near the bubble
Party 20+2 250-player MTT. Top 30 pay, but I'm mostly interested in making the final table, and currently I have an average stack.
I put villian 1 on a big ace or possibly a medium pair, and after his raise I'm sure he's pot committed. No clue about villian 2, but I can afford to lose to him as long as I beat villian 1. ***** Hand History for Game 3224379890 ***** NL Texas Hold'em Trny:18396876 Level:7 Blinds (100/200) - Sunday, December 18, 19:59:52 EDT 2005 Table Multi-Table(543011) Table #1 (Real Money) Seat 1 is the button Total number of players : 9 Seat 1: ( $3870 ) Seat 2: ( $6260 ) Seat 3: ( $1510 ) Seat 6: ( $8903 ) Seat 8: ( $3523 ) Seat 10: HERO ( $3935 ) Seat 9: VILLIAN 1 ( $4704 ) Seat 7: ( $1643 ) Seat 4: VILLIAN 2 ( $1990 ) Trny:18396876 Level:7 Blinds (100/200) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to HERO [ Ah Kd ] VILLIAN 2 raises [400]. Re: A hand near the bubble
Whats the problem in this hand? Your crushing villian 1, and a coinflip to villian 2.
bad beats suck, but they happen to everybody, dont get results oriented. |

I'm actually fairly happy with my play in that tournament, although of course I'd be happier if I'd finished in the money. |

Re: A hand near the bubble
You're fine dude. If Bill Gazes can correctly call off his stack with AK when 4-handed, you certainly are correct to do it here against much less worthy opponents in a much less scary spot.
