Getting funky with Windows
Over the past couple of years, as I have steadily played more and more poker (and thereby spent more and more time at my computer)I have come to a point where I really enjoy having my computer really unique and personalized. I have tons of sweet hi-res 1600 x 1200 wallpapers, a clean desktop, good software, killer WinAmp skins, etc. The result is a really nice looking PC.
However, I have grown very bored with the limited customization I have access to in WinXP. I remember in older windows I could set window/taskbar colors and fonts easily. In XP they are either olive green, blue or silver. What I am looking for is a nice, free program that mods out windows that I can play around with. I want to change various colors, window appearence, etc. I have found a couple of these programs on the web but wanted to see if there are any programs you guys have exerience with and recommend. Thanks, GS |

Besides shanjens, more here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/screensavers.asp and http://wulfert.ezthemes.com/pcenhance/xs/main.phtml has some other info. You can [censored] around w/ windowsblinds etc to do all sorts of silly stuff. The advanced tab in my pic really legs you change almost everything though. |
