Strange heads up situation... Did my opponent misplay his hand?
Playing on the gaming club heads up 25-50 a few hours ago. My opponent is a pro, but I don't know this yet. He later told me he was maxmuller from pokerroom. (we played a lot together there and have respect for how each other plays).
The blind structure is where BB is button (not proper HU structure). He raises preflop with QT clubs, I raise with 55, he calls. Flop comes A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] he checks, I bet (I'm 95% sure I have the best hand) he calls. next card is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] he checks, I bet he calls (I know 100% I have the best hand now as he would have raised an ace here or on flop) last card T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] he checks, I bet he calls and wins. He knew the way I play and should have known I have pocket pair or at least king high (though I would not bet king high on turn so by then he should have put me on an ace or pocket pair). Did he have odds to call the turn? |
