Foxwoods info?
Hi,
Shuffling off to Foxwoods and would like some info on the NL games there. Heard there's a 1/2.. but max of 100 buyin?? Time charge?? Is this true; if so, what's the charge (1/2hr or hr)? What other games do they have.. blinds, min/max, and rake or time charge. Thanks |

[/ QUOTE ] It has been awhile since I played the 1/2 table but I think the time charge is $3 every half hour. [ QUOTE ] What other games do they have.. blinds, min/max, and rake or time charge. [/ QUOTE ] There is a 5/5 NL with $200 minimum / no max buy in; $6 every half hour. Usually at least one table going; sometimes 2 or 3. There is also a 10/25 NL with $1000 minimum buy in; $10 or $12 every half hour. Forget which. This game sometimes does not go for lack of players. Things are quite busy there currently as they just started the WPT. |

They frequently (at least as of a month ago) open up second and third main games instead of opening up a must move, and they call the new games far too quickly as the 5/5 list builds. This often leads to one good, full game that nobody will leave and two far less good shorthanded games with a bunch of grumpy players trying to get on the transfer list or leaving for the 20. When the room is crowded on weekends, they tend to only have one or two open, and people tend to sit at the game for a long time. Show up early or very late if you don't want to have to wait too long to get a seat. scrub |

Re: Foxwoods info?
he didn't play for too long, i didn't really get too much of a feel for how he was playing, the only big hand i saw him play was a 234 2 spades flop, another guy bet, he raised, the guy reraised, and he went all-in and the guy quickly mucked.
avg stack was probably about 4 or 5K? tough to say because some guys had like 15-20K and a few guys had the min. $1K could you PM me info about "the 10/25 in nyc" |

Re: Foxwoods info?
The time on the 1/2 blind games is an exorbinant $5/half hour while the 5/5 game only charges $6/half hour. Both have had multiple tables running the past few times I've been but the 10/25 blind game is often not running at all or is shorthanded. With the tournaments there over the next couple weeks, I'd expect the big game to run more frequently.
