Re: Monsters under the bed?
Why the hell aren't you raising that turn? Really weak by you IMO

Re: Monsters under the bed?
I am definitely raising the turn. I am also capping to a reraise and depending on my read of the villian possibly just calling the river.

[ QUOTE ]
Monsters under the bed? [/ QUOTE ] yes Fold pre-flop because there aren't enough callers. I'd 3-bet the flop. As is, definitely raise the turn. If he 3-bets, I'd cap and then call the river if he still bets. There are many many hands besides KK that he could reasonably have here. And if he has 66, well [censored] that. |

Re: Monsters under the bed?
Please raise the turn and don't stop betting for the rest of the hand.
No reason to fear 66 here. KK, although a possibility, is a lot less likely than AK. |

Re: Monsters under the bed?
I haven't read the replies yet but here we go...
Fold pre-flop unless the table is extremely loose and passive. Flop: 3 bet seems like a good option, especially if you are likely to chicken out on a raise with a turn spade or king. Which seems very likely that you would chicken out. Turn: Cap River: Bet if checked to, call if bet into. Bet/call a CR. |

Re: Monsters under the bed?
I routinely limp suited connectors second in from the CO. Of course, I also routinely raise & cap for value when I flop trips and turn a full house with them.
I shudder to think how many bets you missed here if he was holding something like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Kx, AA, or worse yet, A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. And he's holding one of those hands (or something else that he'll pay off with) far more often than he's got KK or 66. |

Re: Monsters under the bed?
Same as what most everyone else said. I fold preflop. If you slowplay flop it should only be to get in tons of bets on the turn.
