Default Raise or Fold?

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, Hero...?

This is my second hand at the table. I have no relavent reads.

I believe of all the capping hands I am behind a lot of them but there is a good chance the flop missed both.

Then with 2 bets to me I have a tough decision.

Easy fold, and I don't cap preflop.

You dont cap after the limp RR? Does that look like AA/KK or just some donk?

Without having any reads on the MP player, I would treat the limp raise as a big hand. I call the re-raise then release on the flop.

Without a read I cap with TT here. The range of hands this will be done with is just too huge. "Good"(IE stupid) LRRs will be done with AA/KK and AK, and bad ones will be done with anything.

OK, I missed the fact that it was a LRR. However, it was an open-LRR. There's a much higher likelihood that this is a premium hand than someone who LRR'd after other limpers. I'm perfectly happy calling this LRR and taking a peek at the flop.

Also, in spite of the fact that this guy is obviously a donk for pulling a LRR, what do you honestly think he's raising here before the preflop capper has even acted? The board is drawless. There's a lot of evidence that his hand is Qx, AA, KK, QQ and an outside chance at JJ, and I can't think of anything that a player remotely like my default player would play this way. With no read that this guy is a raving lunatic, I'm folding. I'll be sure to note what he shows down, however.

Here's the best case scenario for you: you cold call, BB calls. Turn and river bricks, check-bet-call-call on each. Thus, you'll get 12:3 on calling down, aka 4:1. There is no way in hell that this is 99 20% of the time against an unknown. Don't be results oriented, but make a note for next time. Then you'll have a case for 3betting his maniac ass.
