Default Colorado Sports theme label ideas for my chip set

I'm thinking on making my own custom labels based on Colorado sports teams and adding them to some NexGen chips. Below is a link to my mock-ups. Only thing I'm not sure of is how they will look when matched up to the various colored chips. Let me know what you think.

Why would anybody ever want an Avalanche chip?

Just messing with you. Nice theme.

They look great. Good idea. Can you make one for me for Texas? I can make a set for my Dad.

Default Images ready but what tool to use to print the label sheets?

The other question I have about using the sheets of 63 labels is - What type of software is needed to print out a sheet like that? Does Microsoft Word have an option to align a sheet like that?

I have the 1" raw images done but no clue on how to create the page that will align with the label sheets. What tool should I use?

Nice theme and the mock-ups look good.

Have you tried messing with the colors to match your chips more closely... might look funny, might not. Also, could just play with the outer ring matching the chip color.

I don't know what chips you have, breakdowns, colors or your team preferences (e.g. Bronco's fanatic so they're definitely the purple 500's period etc...) but you might consider making the CSU outer ring a darker green to match your chips and the inner slightly lighter. Also, the CU chip outer ring could be black and a lighter charcol inside. I like the "glow" around the CU logo... you could incorp. that into the others. The Bronco's could have a navy ring and slightly lighter inner blue... you get the jist. Maybe the Rockies could be more grey than black with a grey ring for your white chip.

Just some thoughts,
Fins

I saw the template for Avery brand labels over on onlinelabels.com. Heh, they don't sell actual Avery labels there.

I'm really excited to see these "labeled" chips in their final form.

Those look awesome!

The initial colors for these are based on the actual team colors and not necessarily matched to any chip colors - so ya - I may have to make some final adjustments here. Here is what I'm thinking so far. I'm looking to buy some of the NexGen "Las Vegas" chips btw.

Black Chip - CU Buffalos - black matches best
Green Chip - CSU Rams - no other colorado team has green
Purple Chip - Rockies - a natural since purple is team color
Red - Avalanche - although burgandy/maroon is true team color
Yellow Chip - Nuggets - closest match
Blue Chip - Broncos - blue primary team color

This leaves out white - may have to design one more team logo for white or modify the Rockies chip as suggested to use with white instead of purple - may end up with Air Force Falcons instead.

I have an HP Photo printer that I plan on using to print the labels. So any tips/suggestions on best labels to use (glossy/matte) and best way to set them up for printing would be appreciated.

May have to incorporate a fade in from chip color to team color. Will do more mock ups once my NexGen samples come in.

Nexgens are a good choice.

Chip color schemes are great.

I wouldn't worry about a white chip as you have 6 already and that's alot, white gets dirty, plus blue $1's are common.

I've heard some mention having kinko's or another print shop do the printing on lasers (or even buy 'em printed). If I was to do some up for my FIL or recommend to a friend I'd look more into this... anyone know costs for comparison?

Look forward to more mock ups,
Fins
