If you were to design a VIP program for a poker room...
What would it look like? |

Id create a point system involving the number of hands you play and the limits. Also sngs and tournaments would factor into the equation. Id pretty much set it up so that it would be like getting a percentage rakeback. The more points you earn the higher rakeback percentage you would recieve. Id also set up a MVP(most valuable player) club that would be the top maybe .5% of point earners. Id have a special cs team for these players and hold special tournaments.

I'd set it up so that you get ePoints based on the square root of the raked hands you played. This way you are penalized for playing more hands. At my room, we don't want very much business. Also, we would have it so you get the same # of points whether you play .5/1 or 50/100.
That would be pretty cool, but I doubt this will happen. |

It would be just like RB, except you wouldn't have to go through an affiliate. And the RB would be a % of your actual rake paid, instead of MGR.

For every $10K+ MGR player comped escorts at the end of the month.

Crazy... Definately the most original!
Somewhat surprised that with all the negative comments surrounding VIP programs recently, no one has any truly constructive thoughts!!? |

Not free roll tourneys. Those are lame. Rakeback is such a good idea, I don't see why they are so against it.

My idea: Members of the VIP club can see all the other players hole cards.
