Hi/Low Regular
Can anyone point me to a reference on this game? and also are there any online sites that spread it? even if its just for play money.
there is a mixed game i'd like to play that often includes this game, however i assume the strategy is quite different than an 8 or better game. |

Re: Hi/Low Regular
He means high low without the 8 or better requirement, the way they used to play it.

Re: Hi/Low Regular
According to Sklansky in his book Poker, Gaming & Life (Fighting Fuzzy Thinking) the chapter on hi/lo poker in Supersystem written by Sklansky will teach you how to beat anyone but the very best

40-80 at Bellagio? You in Vegas now? Jeff [/ QUOTE ] yep, just moved to LV two weeks ago. the 40-80 mix was next to my 30-60 game a couple times. it looked super juicy. especially the stud hi/low and TD rounds. it seems like alot of these guys are omaha 8/B players who know little to nothing about stud. the bellagio is also speading a regular 20/40 stud game which was great the two times i played in it. they often run a 50/100 stud game as well. |

Re: Hi/Low Regular
The norm for $50/100 is a $10 ante and $15 force. A $5 ante would make for a terrible game. On the other hand, if people played too loose for the structure....
