5/10, 20 to open.
Villain(Al krux) has 4.5 I have 6.5 at the table, bought in for 3 , havent hit many hands but have been steamrolling table all night,(am a lil "intoxicated". Ive flipped up many uncalled bluffs and put a few players on tilt. I raise to 80 UTG with 56o Al krux calls in co, every1 else folds. Flop is A56r. I check, Krux bets 200, i call, and bet 1500 in the dark. Turn is a K, and Krux moves in, I call. |

I think there is a better flop line given your image then check/call. bet3bet probably won't work against al krux (is he a good cash game player?), you probably have been bluff check-raising like I know you do 24/7, so why not check-raise here?
edit: How do you play 78 here? |

I've played with Al in this game and he tends to play quite strangely, though I've never seen him get it in there like this without a big hand. I personally think you are crushed, with a decent chance of being dead here.
I also like a huge CR on the flop. Make him decide how he wants the hand to play out. |

I disagree.
Ak is unlikely, he will reraise it pf 99% of time, AQ too. AJ, AT are what he is more likely to have. |

Check-raising this flop is absolutely the right line. The turn call I probably make also, but I'm not positive about it solely because you bet blind. Why would you do this? You're telegraphing to Al that you are not afraid to put money in and are indicating strength, and he still doesn't particularly care.
Normally I would doubt he has AK and put him on AQ-AT making a stand against a maniac, but that's a hard stand to make after you've just said you're willing to put in half his stack on the turn regardless of what card comes. |
