664 is good, but not excellent. I doubt they'll give you this card, more likely they'll swap it for some other credit card with worse features. Still, no harm in calling them up and asking specifically what kind of credit is needed.

While I agree that 664 probably doesn't qualify as "Excellent", good luck trying to get anyone to tell you what does. I tried this recently while considering moving some debt onto a o% APR card and I couldn't get anyone to tell me what my credit limit would be without actually applying. Very annoying.

I think you're just out of school and probably don't have too much of a credit history. I was in the same boat and had a hard time finding a credit card.
I'd recommend the Citibank Student card to start. I think you get the similar benefits with it, but the APR is a tad higher. |
