HU: re-raised all-in with K9o
SNG 11s PartyPoker
2 part question: the first part is the scenario minus the actual pot odds I faced, the second is scenario with the pot odds... Part 1) My read is that villian is still making value raises short-handed and heads-up, not much pushing with any two based on position/timing (that I've seen). We are now heads-up. I am SB with K9o HU and raise to 2xBB and get re-raised all-in. What pot odds do I need to call? Do I need pot odds to call or is the fact that this is top 30% enough? If it's not (based on my read), what top% are calling hands, 20%? Part 2) Here is the HH: I am getting 2+:1 on my call, so calling is a no-brainer...right? ***** Hand History for Game 2350086507 ***** 600/1200 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) (Tournament 13860326) - Tue Jul 12 01:20:05 EDT 2005 Table Table 11621 (Real Money) -- Seat 5 is the button Total number of players : 2 Seat 5: Hero (5020) Seat 7: Villian (2980) Hero posts small blind (300) Villian posts big blind (600) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ 9h, Kd ] Hero raises (900) to 1200 Villian raises (2380) to 2980 Villian is all-In. Re: HU: re-raised all-in with K9o
with blinds this big i just push to begin with. K9 is a plenty good hand to be going all in with heads up.

Re: HU: re-raised all-in with K9o
Villain's got 5x BB. Push preflop. And there's no way in hell you fold K9o after Villain pushes.

Re: HU: re-raised all-in with K9o
not pushing K9o with <10 BB HU is terrible

push preflop, don't even get tricky with the raise. just shove it.
