Party Poker running adverts in UK cinemas.
Went to see Kill Bill2.
Very surprised to see Party Poker advert start playing during the adds before the movie. I think this will be a nationwide campaighn. |

Re: Party Poker running adverts in UK cinemas.
I saw the same thing - however I think you'll find it was Paradise doing the advertising, not Party. The opening seconds of the ad were met with mutterings of "For f**ks sake" from my girlfriend and hysterical laughter from myself. The poor girl simply has no escape from it!!! Paradise have also been doing some press ads recently featuring Caprice - a few of my work colleagues have spotted them and mentioned them to me, asking if that was why I play!! Sheriff PS: Great film too! |

Re: Party Poker running adverts in UK cinemas.
You got me,
It was my mate who told me. Im going to the cinema tonight. It looks like Paradsise have outdone party who had there "Official" UK launch at about the same time. Party invited Jordan and Lord Brocket to there launch party to appear in photo shoots. Class choice Party poker. Perhaps consider changing your marketing contractors. |

Re: Party Poker running adverts in UK cinemas.
When I was there a month ago I was surprised that nearly every tube station had multiple ads for Paradise and other sites.

Re: Party Poker running adverts in UK cinemas.
Great news. On average UK players are poorer than US players, would you agree?
Seems every corner I turn there's a billboard for casino-on-net in the UK, not to mention all the advertising at sports grounds too, especially footy..........though not yet at my team in The Conference |

On average UK players are poorer than US players [/ QUOTE ] Why? US: Before adjustment for seasonal change and inflation, average weekly earnings were $520.71 in April 2004. UK: Average gross weekly earnings April 2003, UK average of £474 (approx $838) |

Just my (fairly limited) on-line experience (ICP skins v UB, Party et al, Absolute & Pacific) seemed to suggest a greater % of UK players weren't very good. |

Two stats that make it even better for poker advertising in the UK. Poorer (less good) players and Richer (more money) players. Best combination around! |
