3-4 handed, which hands do you defend in the SB?
3-4 handed, all good players. The button raises. Which hands do you call/re-raise with in the SB to defend against a possible steal?

There is a material difference between 3 and 4 handed play.

When you say 3 handed do you mean the button, you (SB) and the BB? I think that would qualify as a defend situation but I would have to know that the button is stealing to lower my standards. |

In a 4-handed game, the player UTG should be thought of in terms of being the CO.
