Here is the situation. My whole family has contracted a raging puking flu bug. I have been taking care of all of them. Based on that, and the slightly sore throat I have (preliminary symptom) its about 80% likely that I will be wretching up food in 12-15 hours.
What should I eat for lunch/dinner? What foods taste best going the other way? |

Soup and milkshakes are your friends. They come up easy and chunkless.

As long as you can finish it in an hour or so, you should be fine.

Really? I thought milk was like the worst thing for this kind of situation. [/ QUOTE ] You aren't sick yet, right? Milk is fine, it will settle your stomach down. Once the inevitable occurs switch immediately to juices, gatorade and soups. Also, eat whatever seems to be agreeing with the rest of your sick family. (This may be the best advice.) |

Jello, pudding, milk...basically anything that isn't acidic and won't come up in sharp chunks.
Enjoy! |

i'd stick w/ toast, water, and light, chicken broth based, soup. Keep plenty of gatorade on hand for rehydration or pedialite, whatever u prefer. |
