Re: The best Chad line ever
I still like this one:
Player: "So Scott [Fischman], when is your book coming out?" Chad: "Scott is part of the 'crew,' so it will be a coloring book." |

Not as good as Michael Konik--
"Gus is making this bet because he has a big pair. And he's got a couple of threes." |

Re: The best Chad line ever
No doubt, N Chad was at his best. I generally like his humor, but he seemed to be a little less funny as the WSOP went on. This was easily his funniest episode.
As far as the overall tourny, I am surprised there hasn't been more comment on how good a show this was. The strategy will be discussed elsewhere on this site. Off the top of my head, after just one viewing - the dramatic suckouts (Annie/Phil and the Helmuth 10) to Doyle's comments, the piece on Helmuth almost made him likable (almost),Annie's showing the 9 (i was screaming "show the 9")negreanu's read of the AQ. This was entertaining Poker TV. Would have only been better if they could have shown Annie work her way back after the 333 hand. Still compared to most ESPN and WPT broadcasts, this was top tier entertainment. |
