Default I might be on the Dr. Phil show for addiction to poker (no joke)

Last year my wife saw a show about people obsesssed with hobbies (one guy just loved to detect metal 24/7). Anyway she wrote dr phil that I did the same thing, first it was a role playing game called Everquest, then I ditched that and became obsessed with chess, and then it became poker almost exactly one year ago.

Anyway the other day a producer for the show called my wife and asked for an update and wanted to see pictures of our family. YIKES!

Anyway, you might see some goofball trying to defend all us poker addicts some time soon. At least I make money off it and don't rob the savings accounts.

You might stop to consider whether there's any validity to their allegations. It may be true, it may not, but it's up to you to make that self-assessment.

On the other hand, kicking Dr. Phil in the balls sounds like a really good project, all on its own merits.

I definately think about it too much but I don't think it runs my life or anything. I really doubt they pick us, we will see.

I wonder if they were wanting more of the Everquest obsession rather than the poker obsession? I've seen Everquest do more damage to a life than poker. (I'm not joking.)

Does that mean EverQuest is a gateway drug?

I am surprised you still have a wife.

Actually, I am the same way and my wife has finally accepted that I must have a full-time hobby at all times that attracts 95% of my non-work attention. Right now alternating between gaming (PC games) and poker.
