BB is not a complete donk, he is a little loose preflop, is reasonably agressive postflop.
I have hit a pretty good run of cards and have been raising like crazy. Also there was a fish to my right until about 6 hands ago that just sucked Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Any read on the players that ARE in this hand?
Against an unknown c/r on the flop? Call the raise, hoping to keep SB in, then raise a safe turn (in this case, the 2:diamonds: counts as safe). If 3-bet, call down. The more I look at it, I don't hate the donktastic river raise, but I think as a general rule you want to me more straightforward than this. This reeks of trip deuces or sixes full. |

SB is a massive fish
UTG is your normal 60 vpip passive player, he is a little smarter postflop than SB |

How often do you expect to win the pot when your river raise is called? This is the question you need to ask yourself when you make a raise like this.

I put BB on 66,QT,QJ,QK,QA. Maybe Q9 but I think that would be pushing it. So it looks about 50/50. My orignal gut feeling was that I was still ahead after the flop c/r and on the river I didn't think there was any way he could've 3bet me, so I went for it.

The hand range you put him on seems quite broad. Do you really think he would c/r a pre-flop raiser with qt and qj...?
And the river raise? - What kind of hands do you put him on there? |

*grunch*
Preflop: Word, fine. Flop: Check-raise from a high VPIP player on a pretty harmless board with TPGK: I'd probably 3-bet here, and check-call down to a cap. Possible you are against 66, which is unfortunate, but I think the majority of the time you are still ahead here. |
