2+2 Guide to SNG\'s and other small tournaments?
Over at the shorthanded forum we have a little guide put together which I find really useful. The Micro forum also has a collection of micro-limit posts in pdf format.
Is there anything similar to that for this forum? Maybe even a "best threads" thread? Being new to this and all, it might help me out Thanks guys. |

Re: 2+2 Guide to SNG\'s and other small tournaments?
the above linked guide to shadow's post is our 'best of'...u can also search for the june and july digest threads...
poker.wikicities.com and then click on 'sit and gos' at the bottom for our wiki snganalyzer-pro.com to purchase eastbay's ICM tool...that is THE guide for bubble play...u can search for aleomagus' beat the 10+1 party poker guide as well... the general guide is to play tight the first 3 or so levels (aa/kk/qq/ak...limp in with other pps if <10% of ur stack at ur discretion...def with <5% of ur stack and play for set value)....after u get down to 10bbs or less, go into push/fold mode, which is where u use sngpt (snganalyzer-pro.com) to determine when to push and when to fold after u do that, then u can work on the more intricate aspects of ur game and add hands to play with on earlier levels, work on resteals, stop-n-gos, squeeze plays, etc |
