If you deposit $500 or more and go 7 days without a cashout, you get 1,000 Party Points! I'll probably be doing this 3 times every month from now on.
Edit: Oh crap. I just reread my VIP offer, and that said "regular party points". Does that mean these don't apply since they are "bonus party points?" |

Zee, you are correct, however, those are considered "Bonus" Party points.
The VIP offers Party sends to its players where they quote we will give you $X.XX for this many Party Points only applies to regular Party Points. These Regular Party Points can only be earned by playing on the tables. Keep up the good work Zee. |

Even though deposits will only be Bonus Points, I believe big deposits (left in the account for 7 days if I remember correctly) will help you climb from Blue to Gold so there could be a benefit if down the line they offer a cash for points promotion.
Just a thought.... |

You make a valid point. This is true, they will still help you move up levels. Blue-Silver- Gold

Here's the link to the party players club page that explains how you earn points (note, you may need to be logged in to view it)...
https://secure.partypoker.com/my_acc...arnpoints.html Only "Regular" and not "Bonus" points count for the current promotion... but, as has been noted bonus points will help move you from blue->silver->gold... which will impact how fast you accumulate regular points. |

Thought I'd chime in to point out that one can move from Blue - Silver - Gold only on a quarterly basis. In order to become "Gold" you must accumulate 50K points prior to Dec 31 (15K for "Silver"). If you accumulate 40K points during the period from Oct 1 - Dec 31, you will move up to Silver from Blue, but you will start Jan 1 with a "change levels" balance of 0 (though you will still retain the 40K points in your overall balance so you can purchase beanies to your heart's content or pray for a ponts-for-cash offering). Similarly, if you accumulate 15K points in Oct & Nov, you'll still be playing as a Blue through Dec until you bump up at quarter's end.

I thought you guys already knew this.
Take $3000 - deposit 6x in one day for $500 each. 7 days later you make sure the 6k points are in your account. Cash-out the $3k...rinse...repeat. I haven't gotten 'preferred-player' status or whatever so I can only do $3k at a time (in $500 deposits of course). After I get around to faxing my drivers-license or whatever then I'll be moving more money back and forth each week to get even more points. It's easy. Obviously the points in the players-club are useless. but you can use them in tournaments if you are so inclined (like the 20k point buy-in ones) or you can save them for a Points-for-cash promotion which is supposedly going to be coming to VIP-clubbers sometime in the near future. |

Yeah - I plan to employ this to start Jan 1 as a Gold member. I also plan to play a raked hand at least 5 of every 7 days each week (Sun - Sat) and 20 calendar days every month for another ~1300 points each month. Of course it will turn out that this is all wasted effort as the future offers will somehow not be tied to the increased point-earning capabilities of Silver or Gold members.
