Default Favourite music to listen to whilst playing online

OK, let's lighten the mood.

What's your favourite music to listen to whilst playing online? I've got the Magic Numbers on at the moment, and it's very relaxing - maybe too much so.

Obviously I always start the night with a bit of Kenny Rogers 'The Gambler' - but who doesn't?

I don't listen to music while I'm playing usually. It's just one more thing to deal with that I don't need to.

However, if I'm running a little bad I'll listen to some death metal. For some reason that helps keep me calm.

Mine as well. Renaissance choral music (i.e. Ockeghem, Palestrina) is also very good for my concentration. If I'm winning, I'll put on some Modest Mouse, Killers, or other Indie Rock crap. I actually got hooked on country while watching CMT after zoning out and sitting in front of the TV after a particularly bad losing session, so that's good too, sometimes. For some reason I like Celine Dion, as well.

Jazz, Celine Dion, Country, Renaissance music, Indie rock. I have the craziest tastes in music.

Beth Orton, The Mosquitos and woxy.com (free streaming real-deal alternative). Bluegrass occasionally and Ozzy when I'm drunk.

There's a radio station here in Seattle that streams and is awesome. KEXP.org is a member supported station with an eclectic mix of modern music, with specialty shows featuring electronica, World Pop, Rockabilly, Alt Country, Thrash, etc. Great mix, knowledgable DJ's, non-commercial. It's the dogs bollucks

Quality site... listening to KEXP now. Like it.

Usually have Xfm on here in London. Can get it on the web at xfm.co.uk if you feel like a change.
