2nd pair QTs
Villain is a tight raiser and passive postflop.
Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, CO raises, 2 folds, Hero calls. Flop: (4.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls If I trust CO is ahead if he plays back at me, would a check-raise be better to get out a hand like AJ or AT, or is the more passive line best? Also fwiw, if I continue to check-call and villain bets all 3 streets, I can find a river fold as I don't think he'd bet a worse hand all the way. |

Re: 2nd pair QTs
I definately c/r here and then lead the turn and see what happens. You have a decent chance of being ahead and if not you have the gutshot and the backdoor flush draw. Even though you say he is passive and a tight raiser, I still think he would openraise from the CO with a fairly large range of hands.
