Trying to be different...

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

All I'm doing is supplying the albums that are going out first round, aren't I?

Yes, you are. But I dislike Nick Drake so he might not get in.

i just recently began getting into floyd, wow. I purchased Wish You Were Here recently, another great album. Today at Best Buy I was extremely close to buying Saucerful of Secrets but didn't. Was this a mistake?

Pink Floyd is truly awesome. I think everyone should own every Floyd album. Did you see them kick some ass at Live 8? Damn, Gilmour is like 64 years old now or something, and he can still belt out the tunes. (Now you know where my 2+2 name comes from.)

My picks are of course DSoTM and The Wall... but I'd also like to mention Meddle and Animals, they are also fantastic albums that don't get the attention they deserve I feel (of course, that's probably because they're a bit in the shadow of the other Pink Floyd masterpieces of that era). Echoes is just an amazing song. I can't see any band today pulling off a 23 1/2 minute masterpiece like that.
