$11 AQo rr\'d in SB. - easy call?
This seemed like an easy call, but wanted other thoughts in case I'm missing something. Not only how played, but is my logic sound, or am I delusional.
NL Texas Hold'em $10 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Level:3 Blinds(25/50) Villian: ( $495 ) CO: ( $705 ) Button: ( $440 ) SB: Hero: ( $655 ) BB: ( $1643 ) UTG: ( $1670 ) UTG+1: ( $805 ) MP: ( $930 ) MP+1: ( $657 ) Level:3 Blinds(25/50) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero[ Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] UTG calls [50]. 3 folds. Villian calls [50]. CO calls [50]. Button folds. Hero raises [275]. BB folds. UTG folds. Villian is all-In [445] CO folds. Hero? (to call 195). This is no-brainer, right? Yeah, I was re-raised, but it's like 5-1 pot odds, which would be correct even if dominated (?). Is AA the only hand he can have that I'd fold to if I saw it? |

I would push to begin with. Your stack doesn't really allow you to raise anything less than all in.

Re: $11 AQo rr\'d in SB. - easy call?
Really? I'm glad I asked then. I thought with blinds here, I'm still just short of when I should be pushing. Is it stack size relative to blinds, or relative to pot or other stacks or all the above that dictate a push here? Is it because my raise is 1/3 of my stack, so might as well shove it all?
Seriously, I'm glad you're pointing out an aspect I wasn't thinking about correctly, and I appreciate any guidance to help me remember it for the future. |

Re: $11 AQo rr\'d in SB. - easy call?
If it was folded to you, you might be able to argue that you have a large enough stack to not push all in. But you have 3 limpers in front of you. The pot is already 225. You need to push that.
